Oak Hill Capital Names Mark Pacala as Senior Advisor

New York, NY.  March 11, 2010 – Oak Hill Capital Partners announced today that it has named Mark Pacala as a Senior Advisor to the firm. Mr. Pacala will consult with companies in Oak Hill Capital’s private equity portfolio and provide expertise regarding the firm’s healthcare investments. He has over 25 years of operating and investment experience, predominantly in various healthcare businesses, as both a chief executive officer and private equity investor.

Mr. Pacala served as Chairman and CEO of American WholeHealth, Inc., an early stage healthcare services company he founded, and the Forum Group, a $200 million revenue healthcare company where he led the company’s successful turnaround before selling the company to Marriot Corporation. Most recently, Mr. Pacala spent eight years as a general partner at Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, a leading healthcare private equity and venture capital firm. While at Essex Woodlands, Mr. Pacala led investments in medical device, healthcare service and healthcare information technology businesses. He currently serves as a director of Millennium Pharmacy Systems, United Orthopedic Group and Touchstone Health Partnership.
